Who We Are

WHO WE ARE

The Kla Ha Ya Days Festival (KHYDF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that produces an annual local festival, to welcome people throughout Northwest Washington to celebrate the community’s beauty, and goodwill of Snohomish. Proceeds from the KHYDF’s activities support Snohomish-based community organizations with programs and services for youth and families.

The Kla Ha Ya Days Festival has grown to become one of the largest and most popular festivals in Northwest Washington, attracting attendees throughout the region who are environmentally conscious, health-focused, family-minded, and community-oriented. Its extensive selection of local arts and crafts complements an eclectic mix of over 300 antique dealers, diverse stores, restaurants, salons, bars, eco-friendly businesses, and art galleries along the famed Snohomish river.

Other festival highlights include four live music stages, street fair, frogtastic kids fair, all class reunion, truck war vendors, car/motorcycle show and two beer gardens. It includes activities where kids and parents play games, compete, dance, do art activities, and enjoy the days together.

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Kla Ha Ya Days Festival is to promote the vibrant creativity that makes Snohomish, Washington so unique. The goal is to raise funds to reinvest back into the community to support youth and families. The event is produced through the generous support of volunteers and local merchants associated with KHYDF

VISION

To have the Kla Ha Ya Days Festival  be a valuable arm of the community to attract new families and businesses. To promote the youth and character of the city. To have an attendance of over 100,000 people with an increase revenue of over a million dollars to the community.

MISSION

To inspire the people of Snohomish to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors through financial generosity and volunteer commitment.  To be a local non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to:

  • Offer a fun community Festival

  • Train new volunteers as community leaders

  • Help Non-Profit Organizations raisefunds for their community projects

  • Promote local businesses through their participation in our community Festival

  • Donate excess funds to community organizations
